SimpPDF Reader Privacy Policy

SimpPDF Reader is a local-first PDF reader for iPhone and iPad.

Data Collection

SimpPDF Reader does not collect personal data, does not track you, does not show ads, and does not use third-party analytics.

Documents

Imported PDF files are stored locally on your device in the app sandbox. The app does not upload your documents and does not collect document contents.

Local Metadata

The app stores reading metadata locally on your device, including document titles, local file names, page counts, last-read page numbers, and bookmarks.

Network Use

SimpPDF Reader does not require an account and does not require internet access for its reading features.

Deleting Data

Deleting a PDF from the library removes the app's local copy and related local metadata. Resetting the local library removes all imported PDFs and local metadata from the app sandbox.
